You are invited to submit your art and be part of the 2019 AFLC juried competion, exhibition

and auction event to benefit those living with and vulnerable to HIV/AIDS.

Gain exposure and expand your network of artists and art collectors, while earning 20% from donated art.

Accepted Art for Submission includes: ceramics, drawing, collage, fiber art, 3-D, mixed media, printing making, painting, painting, glass, sculpture, photography, watercolor, neon.

Submit up to three (3) pieces of artwork between May 1 - July 15, 2019.

You will be notified if your work is selected for the event by our juried panel by late August.

  • Artist grants permission for Art for Life Chicago as to reproduce his/her name, information describing his/her work, representations of his/her work and any other information he/she has provided for the purpose of display, promotion, and publicity either now or in the future. Art for Life Chicago will take all necessary precautions to protect artists’ artwork from damage and theft. However, Art for Life Chicago will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to exhibited and/or shipped artwork. Artist agree to pack and transport of the artwork at his/her own risk/expense. Artists may acquire insurance to cover loss and/or damage.

  • Indemnification. I release Art for Life Chicago, Design Industries Fighting for AIDS (DIFFA) Chicago and their representatives, officers, directors, employees, volunteers and agents and the participating exhibition venue from any and all claims, demands, causes of action and judgments, losses, costs and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees, arising during the transport, storage, and display of my artwork. “Damage” includes but is not limited to: bending, tearing, marking, blemishing, and theft of my artwork.

    Insurance. I understand that Art for Life Chicago does not insure my donated artwork, and if I prefer my artwork to be insured I must acquire my own insurance.
